ABOUT THE ARTIST

My name is Roe and I am a maker based in Portland, OR. I have a B.A. in ceramics from Fresno State but from my very first glass blowing class I was hooked. Glassblowing is a centuries old tradition that I have a deep appreciation for. Working with handmade tools that haven’t changed much over the course of thousands of years forges a connection between me as a modern maker and those that paved the way before me. My work is inspired by clean lines, color, and functional design. I strive to make pieces that are both visually stunning and utilitarian in nature.

HANDMADE GLASSWARE

Each piece is hand blown at my studio in Portland, OR. I strongly believe in the functionality of glass. I enjoy creating modern, fun pieces that you can use in your everyday.

No two objects are alike because everything is handmade. There are slight variations between each piece that makes it as unique as you are. From an idea in my brain, to a sketch, to the finished product, I derive so much joy from the entire creative process from start to finish.

GLASS CARE

We always recommend hand washing your glass and avoiding hot liquids to maintain its longevity. We hope your glass is around for years to come, a little heirloom tomato for you and your family to enjoy.
